A few good reasons to become a member of the Sudbury Arts Council
 

  • The Sudbury Arts Council serves as an advocate for the "arts" in Greater Sudbury and the District of Sudbury.  Wheatear you are a graphic or "fine" artist, a writer, dancer, photographer, musician, film maker, sculptor, potter,. weaver, print maker (or whatever creative process you are involved in artistically) we want to connect, communicate and celebrate on your behalf.  This is your organization to promote both you and/or your organization or group and your activities and work.  Together we are stronger and can accomplish more. Become part of the greater community of arts and culture minded individuals to make our area a more enriching and exciting place to live for residents and guests.

  • We work to promote the arts in general and your contribution specifically through our organization and the media contacts we have established.  We can provide you with a list of contacts to help promote your activities as well as do so ourselves through our e-mail lists and our on-line calendar. You can contact us at [email protected].  Let us know if you have an event of interest coming up that you would like others to be aware.

  • The Sudbury Arts Council gives you the opportunity to meet and share ideas with other creative organizations and individuals.

  • Your membership also entitles you to voting privileges and a chance to help shape the direction of our arts council.

  • Opportunity to place information about yourself and/or your organization on the SAC website.

  • Our organization would not be possible without the generous time offered by our volunteers. If you are interested in supporting our volunteer with a donation of your time, please contact us. There are special events, promotions, and other on-going opportunities available to volunteers. Ideally we are looking for individuals who are familiar with the art community and committed to working in a friendly, creative and supportive organization.
